It was an early morning for Coaster and I, off to the races or better yet, off to Redwood City to hit the annual Record Man Dollar sale.. 10,000 or so dollar records, and a new room of never sorted five dollar records. I found some nice stuff for the store at the sale. Next stop, is the most record infested house I had ever seen! Had to be another 20,000 records everywhere in this dudes house, notice the garage pics. The house itself had records in every cabinet and drawer..Coaster plucked a Soul in the Horn!
One of the dopest additions to our last art show was definitely Souls new album cover titled, "Montezuma's Revenge". Stephen Lopez left this one here for Tajai to pick up in the next few days. Notice Prince Paul chillin' in the upper right corner, he did production on this one..Sick!
John at Kapitol working with Alison Harrington, from the San Quentin Baseball Team organization, designed theSQ Logo in 2004 and printed 300 shirts exclusively for the baseball team and their family members.

Last night we had the pleasure of checking out PB Wolf and new Stones Throw phenom Mayer Hawthorne live at The Cataylst here in Santa Cruz. PB Wolf rocked a set of modern soul VJ'ing that was off the chain.. Mayor Hawthorne played with his back up band The County and swooned the crowd with his smooth new tracks. There was even a pair of panties that got thrown on stage! PB Wolf spent the morning here at The Krate digging in the back, and got to unearth some gems. It was a pleasure to hang with him and meet a true Hip Hop genius and sound pioneer!
